What with it being at the foot of the famous Mount Snowdon the town of Llanberis is a firm favourite of walkers and climbers. It is also not half an hour from Llandudno, a popular up and coming sea side resort.
Pembrokeshire is home to the best beaches in Wales and is a national park, which as well as being an area of natural beauty is also one on sports and activities. There are also many historical landmarks to discover such as St Davids Cathedral and The Pembroke Castle as well as nearby towns such as Newport and Fishguard to explore.
The Brecon Beacons in central Wales is an area of inspiring countryside and hills and warm and welcoming villages with local pubs to visit after a long walk. A truly perfect spot if the country life is your ideal.
