Cambridgeshire and the small city of Cambridge is home to one of the world’s most esteemed universities; go punting on the river, visit the ancient churches and colleges and see the beautiful architecture of the buildings and cobbled streets that make this historic city.
The town of St. Neots is the largest and one of the oldest of the county with its priory founded in 974AD. Peterborough on the other hand is a modern animated city and one of the UK’s best shopping destinations: An example of the variety of locations within the area.
In Suffolk is Ipswich, England’s oldest Anglo-Saxon town and in Essex is Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town. In this region of the country are many significant historical landmarks, buildings and places and are brilliant to visit let alone live amongst.
Along with market towns, idyllic villages and historic cathedrals and buildings are the regions fantastic seaside towns and stunning coastline. Great Yarmouth in Norfolk for example is one of the area’s most noted seaside resorts positioned with the Norfolk broads and stunning surrounding countryside.
