Many high-end properties 'based in London'

There are luxury homes located in all areas of the UK, with most
high-end property in London, it has been shown.
According to Zoopla.co.uk, there are nearly 2,000 streets in the
country where the average house price exceeds £1
million.
In total, 1,995 such residential areas exist, the property website
noted.
Among them is Kensington Palace Gardens, where the typical cost of
an abode is more than £18 million.
Meanwhile, The Boltons in SW10 and Frognal Way in NW3 secured
second and third place respectively.
The firm's Nick Leeming said: "The past 12 months have seen house
prices in the leading areas of the country rebound at a far faster
rate than the average, contributing to a widening of the
north-south divide."
Earlier this month, Nigel Ellis, director at Prickett & Ellis,
suggested that the flagging fortunes of the euro are likely to lead
to increased foreign investment in the UK housing market.
