Lettings agent award 'could offer competitive advantage'

Local lettings agents are being encouraged to enter the Estate and
Lettings Agent Awards (Estas) 2010, as a win could provide them
with a competitive advantage.
Simon Brown, managing director of Awards for Business, wants to
draw agents' attention to the potential benefits of walking away
with a title, according to a report on the Rentman website.
The site quoted Mr Brown in an interview with the Move Channel as
saying: "In the sort of competitive market we are in and likely to
experience next year, clients are being more selective than ever
when appointing an agent."
As the longest-running awards scheme within the industry, the Estas
offer agents an important platform to showcase their
businesses.
Winners are voted for by clients based on the level of customer
service they experience throughout the buying, selling or letting
process.
Channel 4's Location, Location, Location presenter Phil Spencer has
been lined up to present the awards at a ceremony in London in
April next year.
