Green property plans in Yorkshire are welcomed

People seeking property to rent in Yorkshire may benefit from
the construction of new green homes in the area.
According to a report in the Yorkshire Post, Sheffield Council's
ruling cabinet is due to meet tomorrow (May 26th) to finalise the
details of the environmentally-friendly residences.
A scheme which will lead to the creation of 19 new abodes in
Burngreave will then be able to proceed, after bosses have examined
the financial specifics of the project.
Commenting on the development, officers from the local authority
said: "It will improve the overall sustainability of these
communities by providing good quality housing as well as choice and
access to a wider offer of homes in the areas."
There will be a range of properties on offer, including two, three,
four and five-bedroom houses.
Also, the dwellings will incorporate solar panels on their roofs,
which are designed to produce hot water and electricity.
Recently, the news source revealed that new apartments are also to
be created in Barnsley.
