The market town of Axminster is located on the eastern border of Devon and has plenty to offer people wanting to relocate.

Axminster has its own railway station, which connects the town to Yeovil and Queen Street Station in Exeter.

It is also the southern starting point of the Taunton Stop Line, which runs north to the Somerset coast near Highbridge.

Those who prefer swimming can visit Exmouth leisure Centre, Honiton Leisure Centre or Sidmouth Swimming Pool, all of which have 25-metre pools and are open from early in the morning to late in the evening.

People looking for a bit of culture can head to Axminster Museum, which is situated in the centre of the town in the Old Police Station and Courthouse, opposite St. Mary's Church.

Founded in 1982, the museum includes exhibitions related to the town's carpet industry, which was founded by Thomas Whitty in 1755.

Other collections include agricultural tools, archaeological finds, coins and medals, costumes and textiles and old photographs.

There are plenty of things for those with an interest in the arts to do too, with the Guidhall hosting meetings of the Axminster Drama Club and Axminster Operatic Society.
