Crouch End: More than a standard commuter base

People living and working in London are typically on the lookout
for somewhere these days that offers them more for their money,
with the suburbs and outskirts able to provide a way of life that
they can't find in the city. The general price of houses outside
the capital also means they can afford bigger properties and give
their kids somewhere to live that is less stressful and more
quiet.
Finding an area though that offers something for all the family is
still difficult to do, with the need for good commuter options and
education the most important for any family unit.
Thankfully these are both to be found by those who are seeking out
property for sale in Crouch End.
Located in the North London borough of Harringey, the suburb is
ideal in that it offers some of the best transport options
available to commuters. While some outskirts areas will see them
confined to one packed train station each morning, those living in
Crouch End will have the chance to visit Turnpike Lane, Finsbury
Park, Highgate and Archway, giving a greater array of options for
choosing the least congested and most convenient.
Schools will also be a major consideration, and thankfully the town
caters well for families in this respect. With seven primary
schools serving the area, parents of those who are about to start
their education will have a number of options to choose from that
will mean selecting the best to meet their needs.
There are also three different secondary schools in the area.
Away from work and school though, it will also be important that
any area outside the capital offers enough facilities that
residents are not having to travel to the city on their time
off.
Crouch End provides well for these needs, with a library at Hornsey
giving parents the chance to make sure kids are reading enough. It
also has a wide range of DVDs to borrow.
There are also a number of local shops in the area, including a
supermarket, a vintage shop and a range of other
retailers.
