Brighton market 'booming'

The housing market in the city of Brighton and Hove has been doing
well recently, it has been stated.
Local estate agent Andrea Harding told This is Money: "The sun came
out early in March and the viewing levels shot up. My diary has
gone mad."
She added that even though the market has been "dire" the level of
housing demand is "way up on last year".
The news provider suggested that Brighton has a strong appeal
because of its traditional features - such as the pavilion and pier
- as well as its youthful profile and more attractive lifestyle
compared to London.
Another area that could be doing well soon is Suffolk, an agent has
suggested.
Bury St Edmunds-based David Bedford claimed that the appointment of
Roy Keane as Ipswich Town Football Club's new manager could bolster
the top end market in the county as he moves down from Cheshire to
take up the job.
Mr Bedford told the East Anglian Daily Times that the Irishman
could "do more for the property market than the chancellor Alastair
Darling did in his Budget".
