Property award winner is "truly inspirational"

The winner of a prestigious property prize has said been described
as "truly inspirational" by TV presenter Melissa Porter, who
presented the awards.
Sheffield landlord Shona Davison, 31, who suffers from myotonic
dystrophy, was chosen to be the National Landlords Association
property woman of the year 2009 due to an extremely healthy
property portfolio and financial successes across the
private-rented sector.
Property aficionado Ms Porter claimed that it was positive attitude
and business acumen of Ms Davison, who bought her first flat aged
24, that had made her stand out in the industry, despite the recent
slump in the market.
"Shona is a truly inspirational woman who has proved that through
hard work and determination absolutely anything is possible," she
said.
Meanwhile, independent property specialist Malcolm Harrison
recently signalled that the end was near for the UK's property
problems, citing a number of positive reports about the sector in
the past few months.
